That one plane or heli you wish was still flying today ?

Lockheed Jetstar II, aka The Elvis Jet.
I flew it a lot in FSfW95 and FS98 but it never really translated to FS2002. :indecisiveness:
Real world, having four engines was nice for long-range exploring but I can also understand why they were all parked.
 
Hmm, tough one. I'd have to say one of my favorites has to be the Boeing B-314 for the props and the Concorde in Air France colors for the jets. I always thought you could turn the 314 into an amphib by adding gear to the hull at the nose and under each sponson on either side, while the Concorde just looked awesome!

Definately two planes I wish I could've flown on. Mom worked for Air France for 30 years, so I did get a chance to see the Concorde up close a few times at JFK and CDG, just through the window of the waiting lounges at the gate next door. ;)

For fighters, that's a tough one. I'd have to go with anything by SAAB -- to include their props -- since they used to make things a little different than everyone else. Oh, and the BAC Lighting, too. Something cool about a plane that looks like an old Remington shotgun with wings. (y)
