• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Got this in an email and thought everyone might like to see it.

This is different than any of the other pictures you have seen before...these are inside a "Pedro".

Please take the time to view and read. These men are rarely recognized for what they do.

intresting read, i knew they did a lot of trips but 400 missions in three months is insane! :isadizzy:

This U.S. Army rescue helicopter parked at Camp Bastion (Helmand) flies with the red cross symbol allowing the enemy to get a better aim at the helicopter

if that isnt typical army sarcastic humour i dont know what is :icon_lol:

Would love to see a HD documentary on them. Great story, thanks for the link!

Michael Yon is about the ONLY self employed journalist out there. He really calls it like it is, but it is all political so therefore I'll have to keep my mouth shut. :salute:

Michael Yon is a former Green Beret, native of Winter Haven, Fl. who has been reporting from Iraq and Afghanistan since December 2004. No other reporter has spent as much time with combat troops in these two wars. Michael’s dispatches from the frontlines have earned him the reputation as the premier independent combat journalist of his generation. His work has been featured on “Good Morning America,” The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CNN, ABC, FOX, as well as hundreds of other major media outlets all around the world.
