• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Yesterday, I picked up the Carenado C90 King Air as a little Christmas gift to myself. It was on sale, and I love sales.

I've been enjoying it so much, I decided to pickup the Carenado B200 King Air as well. Well, guess what. The sale ended. WHAT?? :dizzy:

It's just Christmas Eve. Tomorrow is Christmas and the sale is pulled? Bah, humbug. :banghead:

If anyone knows the logic behind such sales, please share.

In the meantime it looks like I've got to wait until next Christmas. :biggrin-new:

I liked the look of the 200. When it was released I picked it up for the listed price at the time.
No complaints worth mentioning.

Before the end of the year they may have another sale.

Which is why I can't understand why the sale would stop before Christmas while others continue.

If you find one with Carenado on sale, let me know.
 
Yes I don't understand this logic. Many people don't receive the $$.$$ ahead of time to buy onine prior to Christmas. Not sure why these sales wouldn't continue until at least the day AFTER...anyway...I was also disappointed to find most sales are already over...I just got the ok to spend the money...oh well.
 
Typically a Christmas sale is save money when buying a present for someone else. When was the last time anyone purchased an FSX Addon as a gift for someone else??

I typically buy for myself these days as its hard for the wife to know what I like and I prefer not to have any more socks and ties. Many, many years ago (in a galaxy far, far away...) when I was younger and received money for Christmas, I would look for sales after Christmas.

Bottom line is that this cycle of FS Addon sales baffles me to no end. :dizzy:

That sounds so familiair.

But I must say that the end date for the sales, including the one for Carenado, was mentioned on all sites. My paycheck with Christmas bonus came in today, so I missed out on the sale as well, bummer!!
 
ya, i went to buy an aircraft and it was off sale. bummer and yuck pooo! Maybe an after Christmas sale will come along.
