The B-24 Guy's Hellcat Repaint Question ...

Flyboy208

SOH Staff
I am no stranger to applying repaints and adding them in the aircraft cfg.

So here's the problem ...

I added some of Morton's great skins to this aircraft, but the original roundel - aka. wing stars stil overlap the ones from the repaints.

Perhaps is there a file in the original texture folder that needs to be removed ? The fuselage markings are just fine, but the stars on the wings are the issue.

Cheers in advance for the help. Attached screenshots will show what I am talking about ...

Flyboy208,

I'm a CFS2 driver and don't use the FS series to tell you exactly which folder to look in but try this. Check your main FS texture folder and look for a file called "decal_insignia_t0.bmp", when you find it just rename/delete/move elsewhere and that should solve your problem.
