The Emsco Arctic Tern

Getting back on topic... the Arctic Tern looks like something Uncle Milton would do... wonder if he's looking.

Actually its a genuine FS9 model and you can find it at French-VFR. It is the Super-Dupont created by Beercan. The model based on an aircraft in a comic.

It has a nice VC as well !

Cheers,
Huub

I have a number of Beercan's airplanes. All are very well done. Hope he continues to build models for FS9.

Uncle Milton is always watching, but will he bite :biggrin-new:

Cheers,
Huub

Hmmm, I think the Arctic Tern might be a bit on the extreme side for Milton. He seems to be more into the classic aircraft like the Howard 500 and the Spartan Executive. He did however produce the A-28 Destroyer and the XA-38 Grizzly, a highly modified version of a Beech 18 with hard points on the wings for bombs and missiles as well as a huge 75mm cannon barrel sticking out of the nose of the aircraft. Hard to believe Beechcraft actually produced this obscure prototype. When Milton released the "Grizz" it was ahead of its time. I still have the model installed and it does get considerable air time.

Info on the XA-38 here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beechcraft_XA-38_Grizzly

Only attraction for the Arctic Tern that Milton might see is that it does indeed have a "round engine". If he did "bite", the end product would be spectacular. Despite its "ugliness"... you would want to fly it anyway. (Any way you could, that is).
