the end of something that was good

I never was much one for their music, but I feel bad for their fans right now. I'm sure noone here was big on Nirvana, but I was and Kurt Cobain's death was a pretty big deal. I didn't cry and whine or anything, but the world lost one of it's most creative modern rock prodigies with his passing.

Like many other acts, I'm sure they'll be back together long after that currently scheduled 2010 tour. It's how these things always work, no matter how they're motivated.
 
They were 2 of the best, loved their songs. Sad, but all good things come to an end eventually.

then you can be happy AND sad at the same time:

happy because they are making a movie about kurt.

sad because courtney love is making many of the decisions, and there is alot of stuff reported to be in it that changes her role in his life and spins her in a more positive light.

IT was everyone like Dave Grohl that didn't like courtney. Kurt, obviously, loved her to death and was very attached to her. They had a very unique bond. Courtney Love has very convincing proof that she didn't have anything to do with his death, and actually the former bandmates are the ones that wanted the new albums released for money. The media turned her into some sort of Yoko Ono succubus type creature.
