Hey all, I'm back from USMC Recruit training and i must say it was the hardest 13 weeks of my life. I head back out to camp pendelton for Marine combat training. then after that, i come back out here to missouri for my job training at ft. lenordwood. The Corps changed my job to 1361 engineers assistant, so my job is consisted of surveying, drafting and design and managing engineering projects.

Welcome home Marine !

I kind of enjoyed Pendleton . We got to shoot a lot of different weapons and way back we went through training in mock VC villages etc. I'm glad I went through right out of basic and in pretty good shape cause as I recall there were very few level places on that base . A hell of a lot of hills .

meh, keep your arse three inches lower than the ground, However fast you can run, run faster, Always eat at the navy or airforce mess hall and NOT the Army's, Scan 360 degress at all times and pay attention to the back 180, and if your ever in a place where they dont speak english and some cute little girl sets on your lap and starts wiggling, she aint askin for your autograph...

While not spectacular, our DFACs were pretty good! :D

I liked our cooks. They had an outstanding NCO.

Of course, not as fancy as the AF one in Manas... lol

Good for you ! Thanks for stepping up. You've just said a lot about yourself to the world - and it's all good.
