Hey folks,
Here is the DC-5

Quite a beautiful airplane, definately a showpeice of 30s-40s streamline design. It really was just a victim of bad timing and competing with the company's big selling DC-3. Tho apparently the prototype was eventually sold to William Boeing as a personal transport. I guess if you can sell it to your competitor's CEO, it is a pretty good airplane :)

Yes, updated Lucariny plane, available at Simviation as KLM PJ-AIW. Looks pretty good in FSX but no panel or VC so some tweaking is required.

Because of the DC-5 the KLM is the only airliner that used all of the Douglas Commercial production models; from the DC-2 to the DC-10!

Would be an interesting project, but is there any cockpit info available?

Huh. Looks; unsuprisingly, like a DC-3 cockpit, or close. Didn't the USMC take a DC-5 on charge wartime? Or am I remembering incorrectly ?

I worked with Glenn on the 2D panel. I provided the pictures form a book on the DC5 I have.
Would be nice to have a DC5 in FSX (or flight....). Who knows.
