Hi Cees. Sent you a PM.

Hi Frank,

Would you also be so kind and point me to a download link ? Hopefully I can manually install, as I don't like auto-installers.
I have looked for a while in the past and given up on this beautiful scenery as no luck finding it anywhere for FSX. I think it's called Heron's Nest 2.0, or ?
I would very much appreciate any help.

Thank-you, and Happy Holidays ! Stay safe.

This was a freeware gift from master scenery designer Bill Womack in early 2017. It was never, to my knowledge, released to any site other than his iBlueYonder site. I have checked his site but it's not listed as a product and while it is mentioned, none of the links to download are functional anymore. I tried using his "contact" page but it kicks out an error when I try to "send".

Really enjoyed this in FSX before switching to XP 11. Also tried to download for x-plane and the button aren’t working. Sent message but no reply. Wish it was still available, really enjoyed it for the small landing strip and a great place for my float planes to fly out of.

Herons Nest

If you go here and create an account, you should see where Herons nest if offered free. I just revisited the site and when I logged in, I was able to D/L the file.

Sidler, you have a PM.

At the top of the page the scenery is offered in the products drop down, you have to add it to you cart. Unless you create an account, your cart will be empty.

Hmmm maybe it is a location thing as I am in the UK and site is American. I can log into my account no problem but still can not download the scenery. I click it and it says it is added to the cart but there is nothing there.

I emailed for assistance but no response - thought maybe it was a Christmas or Pandemic thing....

Shame though...

Same problem here in Canada. It says it is added to my cart, but on checkout it says my cart is empty.

I tried to register for an account; with no success. Site seems to be disabled.

I too signed in, clicked the free get it now and it says that Heron's Nest is added to the cart but when it is time to check out cart is empty. Have I missed something?

I had a brief chat with Bill Womack the other day. His reply is below.

The iBlueYonder website is a mess right now. I've been working to move it to a new platform & hosting provider, but it's not done yet. Wordpress appears to have packed it in, and it's no longer very functional. Sorry, hopefully it'll be righted again soon.

So essentially no, it's not available right now but it's not dead or intentionally withdrawn from circulation. I guess we'll just have to have patience and hope he gets it sorted. If I hear more I'll provide an update.
