This is why McDonald's took the "Double Cheeseburger" and turned it into the "McDouble" by eliminating a slice of cheese.
 
Sounds like some marketing wiz figured to get folks in the door for a $1 burger, then they'll buy more stuff. Looks like the opposite occurred. Gee, go figure with the current state of the economy over the past year. :icon_lol:

I don't do "fast food" anymore, haven't for a very long time. Well, most chain restaurants too. Find the "food", if it can be known as that, to be quite terrible, especially the burger outfits.
 
Wendys has been doing it for years, and they don't seem to be suffering. They also make a better burger.
 
HA...I stuck it to the man this evening by order TWO double cheeseburgers at BK! Made him lose 20 cents...I know, it's a small act of defiance, but I do my part for the greater cause.

Nah. Knowing that BK originated in J'ville FLA and knowing how stupid most of the people here are (I'm not a native btw,) I can see this happening.

Especially knowing the make up of the corporation.

Death to the King ... I hate his commercials. :kilroy:
