The Last Encounter - Pacific Ocean 1945 - F6F Hellcats

Two F6F Hellcats flying over the Pacific Ocean, in august 1945, encounter the strangest Japanese Aircraft of WWII. This "What if" video gives me the opportunity to pay tribute to the most talented freeware aircraft designer as well as Vertigo Studios terrific creations. Thanks! :ernae:

I just watched this again. Simple script, not a lot of fancy shots. So why's it so satisfying? High production values (smooth, detailed, two very good "actors"), rich pairing of navy blues and white, and -- what brings it all together and sets the tone -- well chosen music. Pick a different song, and the whole video would have a different feeling. I don't mean a violently inappropriate song, either. This one would work, but it would reverse the perspective: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hREGtdXmlac.

Thank you very much everyone! I am really glad to get all these positive feedbacks from you.

Thanks David,
I thought the airplanes were so perfect I didnt need to show anything else (no land, no nice airport, no fancy effets etc...)
Actually, I chose the music first with a scenario in mind. Then I only had to shoot and edit the scenes.
Thanks for your comment! :ernae:

Very well crafted (as usual, I might say, you do great clips) ! The music indeed adds a lot to it ! What is it ?
