The last flying B720 on its last flight. This Pratt & Whitney Canada test bed was used to test different type of engines. Engines could be installed on the nose or on a side pod (on the RH side of the fuselage). Seen here departing CYHU for CYTR were it will be displayed at the National Air Force Museum Of Canada.

Used to see that bird flying up and down Lake Champlain all the time. Prat's new testbed bird is a 747 SP based at the old Platsburgh AFB in upstate NY, about an hour's drive south of St. Hubert where the 720 was based
 
I visited the aircraft a number of times at the hangar at St.Hubert - a real fixture of the professional aviation industry in Montreal. Sad to see her go!
