Yeah, that would make flying the mig interesting!
When I arrived at Papa the first time the old Migs were parked more or less over the entire base, in the later years they were moved over to the so called "Jurassic Park" on the right side of rw34 (google it and you can see them!). Many have later been sold for scrap. A few are still kept for display in the base itself.
I have started on a trio of other 21's from the last years of flying from Papa;
9178-standard 47 wing decals
6007-this ac had a distinctive decal bellow the canopy with an eagle head and wings with the pilot name (kind of in F-15E fashion)
4025- No 47th wing decals. This ac is currently in the village museum at Magyargencs (which was on my old road bike training route west of Papa) and if you ask the staff they will even open the canopy and let you sit in the cockpit.
