I thought your fs9 version looked great, Ian - but when I tried to use them in CFS2 they were invisible. I've had this problem before trying to use scenery from fs9 and assumed that the bgls were looking for some fs9 textures that weren't there.

Hi, that sounds to me like a texture format problem, i usurally save my textures in DXT1-no alpha, as that suits FS9 best on my system, its been a long time scince i made anything for CFS2 so im not sure what works best.
cheers ian

If you want to experiment, Martin Wight's DXTBmp is the program to use,
im no expert on textures, but for a scenery object, keeping frames low but with a resonable amount of detail, DXT1noalpha seems the best way to go for myself, anything more involved like repaint ac ect, then other options may work better.
cheers ian.
