The new Bugatti Chiron.

The follow-up to the Veyron and more extreme in every way. Still has the 8 litre W16 (Four rows of four cylinders) engine, quad turbos but now pumping out an incredible 1,500 hp!
0-100 kph in a mere 2.5 seconds, 0-200 kph in 6.5 seconds... Speedo goes all the way to 500 kph (312 Mph), but the real topspeed is 460 kph or 288 mph. Production models are limited to just 420 kph (263 mph) probably due to tire limitations.

Production limited to 500, with over a third already sold. Price? €2.4/$2.6 million...

It is definitely special, but I'm not sure I really like it :dizzy:. But I don't need to worry as its a bit above my budget as well.......

Cheers,
Huub

There's no way I could ever afford one too Huub, but I do appreciate the technical tour de force required to build a car like that. Anyone can create a car with stellar performance but making it perfectly usable in everyday traffic is something else.

Does absolutely nothing for me, it's just f-ugly no matter what angle you look at it from both inside and out.

Right with you Tako_Kichi!:encouragement:
I've never been impressed with this car and the 'styling' is an insult to the Bugatti heritage and in this case, to the memory of Louis Chiron.
Cynical marketing exercise aimed at the 'Oil Rich' Middle Eastern moguls.

Agreed, but (there's always a 'but') it really proves the point that unlimited funding and a free hand on the engineering side of a project is how to reach this end result.
