The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

That was fast, Kevin! :encouragement:

It is indeed the single Dietrich DP.VI, thought this would last some seconds longer, pictures of this bird are relatively rare in the net.

Cheers :icon29:

About five years ago, Carlo posted it's slightly younger sibling...the one with the 130hp license built Gipsy Major.

Well I hope everybody has had a pleasant weekend - getting decidedly chilly here now, but the sun is shining.

Cheers
Carlo

Obviously yes, Carlo (I'm going to have to try harder.....)

Hi Lefty! sorry boys but I was unwell Yesterday and taken to hospital for precaution and for further investigations...I'm feeling much better already but I'm afraid I will have to taste for at least a couple of more days the excellent (Aargh!) table-d'hote meals extended by our "Nosocomium" to his patients! Cheers
Carlo

Carlo ! So sorry to hear about your set-back - you just take time, get better and we'll see you soon. :very_drunk:

I have a hunch they are one-in-the-same, just flipped and colour adjusted. Note the oil stain on the ramp, building under the nose, building/boat behind the float, and the pitot tube is on opposite wings.
