The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Is the Lascurain Sport the same machine as the 1940 Lascurain-Salinas XB-1 and the Lascurain Bimotor de Turismo that we had back in 2015? If it is, with that many identities it ought to be French rather than Mexican!

Only 97-100º F, Kevin? Here we had 42º C (= nearly 108º F) on Friday and we're continuing with 38/39º C until the storms predicted for Wednesday morning produce - hopefully - temperatures more tolerable thereafter. Then, maybe, I can cease getting up at 6:00 am to do my outside jobs!

I am away from my computer but do believe the Sport is the same as the XB-1.

Take it away Uli.:very_drunk:

You folks stay cool over there!

I can confirm the second part of your reply.

I.e., not from France. From a much bigger country, but widely-used over the world.

Maybe the heat got me, but a Christavia Mk.1 from Canada?
But....have some doubts cause of the gear/strut locations.

It is from Canada but from another company that produces kits since 1984.
Our sample has an "Australian name".
More than 300 built.

Did you manage to find a picture of the Sungari 1, Robert? I got as far as the Aero Super 45 but couldn't find any pictures of the unlicensed Chinese copy of it.
