I was hoping that with this point of view where the jet exhaust isn't visible the SIPA might look like a prop aircraft.

Supplementary question, Robert. Where is that photo taken ? And how does the Firefly fit in ? Just curious....

I remember seeing a SIPA Minijet displayed at Coventry in the 50's whilst walking with other racing pilots, one being Nat Somers who was funding Kendall to make the SK1, who said he was throwing money down the drain when he could buy one of those.....

Interesting. I have an e-mail from 2007, from the then owner of G-AOBG, the SK-1. He was looking for a replacement for the destroyed wing, and 'restoration will start soon'. I wonder...
 
She seems to have had a different trousered undercart on the video. Delgado Flash was her name.
