• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Didn't think that would squeeze through...

BY the way, do you or anyone else have a pic of the Avia 57 ? Can't find one anywhere.

All I have is a small pic of the 57.

While we are on the subject, how about this trimotor that floats?

I know I'm right with the Romano (same pic) so how about a nice bomber for a change ?

Please press on if you get this (not difficult) as I'm out curling today....

Feels like another French design. Something Breguetish or Latecoere maybe. Not sure with just the front view to go on.

I can't find a picture but thinking this is the Liore et Olivier LeO 7/2? It looks like a cross between the LeO-5 & 7/3.

I have it simply as the LeO 7 (from two sources) - definitely not the 7/3, so maybe the 7/2, or was there a 7/1 ? LeO specialists au secours !!!

I found one reference of the LeO 7, calling it the prototype. You photo didn't look like one.

We need a Putnam style book; French Civil and Military Aircraft 1920-1935!
