The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Hi Kevin :salute:

Never doubt yourself, IT IS an Agusta AB-102 (the one that went to Switzerland, HB-XAY).

Thanks for the double Walter.

Here is a dark prototype that has come to grief...

Hi Moses
I'm pretty sure it is the Caproni Ca405 "Procellaria" built in 1938....
Cheers
BG

PS: since I have no suitable material to submit, if correct, please make it OH!

Hello, chaps, I'm back from a brief sojourn in the Yorkshire hamlet of Lesser Broadband !

You have all been digging up some interesting stuff - this one perplexes me because of the tail markings, but that could be a red herring - is this a Waco CTO-A ?

Hi Lefty!
I understand that you are by now out of the Lesser Broadband region and hope that you won't be in there again for quite a while....
Yessir it is a WACO CTO (or 225TW) "Taperwing" .
You're puzzled by the registration number maybe because this Aircraft belongs to the brazilian air force.
Your turn for a chunky offer....
BG

Well the only chunky thing here is the sizeable piece of artillery mounted in the bows ! I would love to have seen it being fired in anger....

Thanks for the clarification fellas.

Here is a lovely photo. Not too difficult. Can you name the airport as well?
