• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

It is indeed...:applause:.this was easy wasn't it? I'm glad I found such a nice pic for the Macchi considering the epoch it was taken!
Now please surprise us with a new item....
Cheers

I thought it might be a Macchi but it took a stroll through the Thompson book to be sure.

Oddball time. This one managed a hop or two...

Last Call

Okay, this is from an obscure French builder. No record of anything else designed that I can find or translate!

Without something to counteract the torque from that giant rotor contraption I very much doubt it would fly unless the fuselage was secured to the ground by wires.. Looks like the engine and wings assembly is heavier than the rest of the aircraft!

Thanks Ferry!
This one dates from 1972. Supposedly is was not for rich people.

Not getting anywhere with this, Walter.......

I always smile when I read of 'aeroplanes for the masses'.

It is always going to be a diversion for the well-heeled - probably just as well - can you imagine what the skies would be like if we could all afford to fly our own ????

Mr. Al Gonserkevis (Sewell, NJ) called this one the Poor Man`s Cherokee.
N2045 used a basic Davis DA-2 fuselage, PA-28 Cherokee wings, Cessna 150 gear and engine was a Lycoming O-235.

OH please :jump:
