Yes Lefty it is indeed a Consolidated P2Y-1 (I guess it is one of the few unconverrted ones!) That is an interesting pic it would be fine if somebody could tell us where it was taken (looks like a tropical country, maybe Hawai?).

Io abito a Arezzo (circa 30km a su di Firenze) che è una bellissima piccola città di circa 100.000 abitanti.
Sento che hai vissuto a Vicenza per lungo tempo. io conosco Vicenza benissimo perché mi occupavo di oreficeria (ora sono in pensione da 15 anni!) e ero a Vicenza ogni sei mesi per lavoro!
Come si sta in California? Qui la vita è diventata un grosso problema a causa della disoccupazione e della instabilità politica (Fortunatamente Arezzo è una piccola città e il tasso di delinquenza da noi è ancora basso).

Io abito a Arezzo che è una bellissima cittadina a circa 30 km da Firenze. Mi dici che sei stato per lungo tempo a Vicenza città che conosco benissimo perché vendevo oreficeria e ero a Vicenza per lavoro ogni due mesi: ora sono in pensione da 15 anni.
Come si sta in California?
Come saprai la situazione qui in Italia non è delle migliori ma lasciamo perdere!

But how does that account for the confusion in registrations in Aerofiles and the difference of Closed/Open cockpits in the codes??

For future reference, www.aerofiles.com is the place. Use the "Search" menu choice (read the directions) and also take a look at the Data Codes menu - you can use those-all or in part - in the search with some work (like the one from above: 1pOmwM)
