The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Spot on, BG, with Big Leo....:very_drunk:
I had two options...a very difficult and an easy one....however after the efforts demanded by Moses' mystery I opted for the easy one and here she is

Thanks Baragouin, but for the moment I'll make it open house.

Looking quickly through the thread it appears that many of the pictured aircraft are very rare and obscure, so if I can't find something as challenging am I allowed to crop a photo/illustration of well known aircraft?

If so, how much cropping is acceptable? Would something like this be OK or not?...

Cheers
Mr Green.

Mr Green, welcome to the 'madhouse'!:banghead:

Can't say that I could spot your cropped challenge, so will leave that discussion to the others who visit here.
Anyway, jumping in with my offering:
Keith

OK, thanks Keith.

Yours looks like the Mitsubishi 1MT1N Navy Type 10 Carrier Torpedo Aircraft...

If it is, OPEN HOUSE.

Just to tidy things up, can I suggest that Mr Green's bitty aeroplane is a Boulton Paul Balliol T2 ??

Not sure we want to go too far down that route - we'll leave it to the mods......

I'm okay with the occasional cropped mystery but in general, not a fan of trying to guess some bits on an aircraft.

Hello boys and girls!
May I jump in and propose the following:

Good luck
BG

PS I'm also not a fan of "croppers", the fragment of the CANT1011 was just a sporadic fact....

Quite correct Mr Green, still Open house then Lefty, so BG's one is the next.

Correct. BG's is on the clock. Green was just inquiring about the cropped photos with the example. (I think Lefty was correct on the Balliol).

Edit: BG's latest sure looks like a modified Meindl A.VII. One was fitted with a Walter NZ50 and had an enclosed cabin??

I stand corrected. To preserve the honour of the regiment, I'll just nip behind the mess with the old service Webley and do the decent thing........:apologetic:

Nah, no need for that. All those open houses did get confusing though.:dizzy:
