The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Walter, I am getting thirsty (and I don’t want to let the others wait). :teapot:

Sorry for the grainy pic, but identification of this beast shouldn’t cause a serious problem to most of you.

Hi giruXX:encouragement:
My fuess: The Italian Bucciero SVIT-70 (the second example with the sliding canopy). If correct, do you have a registration?

Thank you giruXX:encouragement:
This one is from the early-2000s. Not many were built (I know of 3 registrations). The pictured one has a small turbine engine, the others a conventional piston job.
Without modern aircraft there will be no history.

USA. Original company had name with a natural phenomen coming from more than 3 sides and caused by air flowing from high pressure to low pressure areas.

Ah, the easy clues first! <label for="rb_iconid_39">

There is a video of it doing an en engine start that is labelled Alison 250 b15, but otherwise have to guess that its a FX-210 modified as cannot find any other designation. Interesting to note that the company has languished following a fatal crash with assets apparently owned by a Mick Macafee.

Hi Keith:encouragement:. The Allison 250-B15 is the small turbine engine that powered the pictured aircraft (labelled as FX-210 and sometimes as FX-300T.)
Here is another pisture of a .......... but now with a piston engine.

Forgot to say that the original company was called Four Winds, one more than your clue, although there is this place in Spain where aircraft are displayed....
Onwards then to my submission.

Hi Keith:very_drunk:
Just to confirm Four Winds FX-210 is the aircraft.
The FAA register mentions 5 aircraft as FX-210 (N889K, N250FW, N748PG, N524VT, N612TR) although N889K carries FX-300T on her tail.

Four Winds FX-210

@wout,

after I gave up searching I was wondering what Google image search retrieves with your photo. It turned out that you posted this photo already here in September 2014: #9857

I then followed your earlier advice to check Jane’s 2003-04 and found this:

Another entry is in Jane’s 2008-09 but I did not look that one up yet.
