Interesting photo Carlo, never seen it before. Kind of reminds me roughly of a 3/4 scale Caproni Ca.405 (basic shape) but I know that is a wild guess.

I've been digging around and found a few four-engined bomber projects - the nearest appear to be the Caproni CA204 and thePiaggio P.133. I know mock-ups and wind-tunnel models were done.....

Good morning gentlemen!
I think you're a bit off the track...this is the mock-up of a would-be french bomber: the Dewoitine D-800 which by the way would have been next in line with yesterday's mystery!
Cheers and open house please
Carlo

Very close Mike::biggrin-new:
Donot know whether the story is true, but only one was completed since the kits were delivered with one box short and that box held the instruction sheet.
It it helps, the aircraft had a Continental O-200-A engine, first flew 1979 and had upward foldable wings.

Hi fabulousfour
Please take away the perhaps. This IS the Neumann N-2 :very_drunk:.
Sadly lost in a fatal crash June 1985 (source NTSB)

Your turn sir!

From a well known, but not very successful manufacturer who built several models of aircraft but only one that was produced in considerable numbers.

Despite the "tail art" the plane is not from the US.

The well known founder of the company was a colorful personality but ended tragically.

Couzinet? He was well known in the milieu …. and he did die tragically (with his wife)……..the only hitch is that he never sold anything in substantial quantity!
Cheers
Carlo
