• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Think we're all back on stream again - the bold Ickie has repelled the nasties - so we'll see if anybody can get the little monoplane. It is from a European country where I have been well refreshed, sometimes doubly or triply !.

I thought that the reference to doubles and triples might be to Belgian beer. But, if so, I failed to find a tubby little parasol monoplane, on the Belgian Wings website, that matches Mike's offering.

Mike knows his beers - and is correct with the :belgium: attribution.

Actually, this machine does feature on the Belgian Wings site, but in its later (1934) configuration, much modified. But still tubby.....

Not the Mulot AM20 by any chance?
Cheers

That's it, BG, more or less. This is the original 'Labor' built by Maurice Mulot in his spare time. He was a Frenchman who worked for SABCA, and this flew in June 1925, registered as O-BAFS, with a Valsin motor lent by SABCA.
It reappeared in 1934 as OO-AFS in its better-known form below. Over to Italy :very_drunk:

Here's another (presumably later) view of O-BAFS with the smaller tail....

Boeing P-29

Chris
Hi Chtornburg sorry for the delay!
It's a Boeing all right but I have it as a 264! Anyway that's good enough for me and you're welcome to proceed......
Cheers
BG

Chtornburg is 100% right! This was called by the USAAC XP29 and by the factory Boeing XP940 (Model 264) then there was a YP29, YP29A and finally YP29B...
