Apart from the tail this plane has a striking similarity to a bird at aerofiles, but since I'm new here should I wait for Moses' answer or may I post my guess?

The name Fokker doesn't appear in the designation.

I will tell you the contents of the boxes when the mystery is solved.

I must apologize, but having checked my books I found that the answer I was hoping for is wrong.

The correct designation for the type is indeed Nakajima-Fokker Super Universal and not Nakajima Ki-6 which I wanted to read. The latter designation relates only to military aircraft and this one is obviously civil.

So lefty's answer is perfectly correct

I hope I didn't cause too much confusion.

The text on the back of the photo is as follows:

It is a Bristol but not a F2B and the engine is not a Falcon...keep on trying you're so very close!

That's right Giru. it is one of the four Bristol Type 88 delivered in 1924 to the bulgarian Post Office and named "Bulgarian Tourer". The engine was a Wolseley Viper.
