The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

My offer isn’t an amphibian in the aeronautical sense, but it might go as a tadpole. :wavey:

That one, Gx, is the Aerauto PL5.C :italy:

Still think it odd that that little Swede was so obscure that nobody could be bothered to take a photograph of it......

Hi giruXX:encouragement:
Never seen that picture before. Maybe interesting to see how the u/c of the PL-5C was used as airplane and as "auto". It could be as moved forward/back as required!
See attached photo and sketch.

@lefty: Did the word „tadpole“ provoke you as our floater expert?

@wout: thank you!

@Nordiska Phoenix: Taking pictures was not as easy as it is nowadays.

Flight’s reporter wrote in 1923:

"As far as actual machines are concerned, Sweden's contribution to the Show was completed by a small side-by-side school biplane exhibited on a separate stand. This machine was stepmotherly treated in the matter of attendance, as we could never find anyone in charge of the stand, and no information was available beyond a brief announcement tacked to the fuselage, which stated that the machine was built by Nordiska Phoenix of Gothenburg." https://www.flightglobal.com/pdfarchive/view/1923/1923 - 0451.html?search=Nordiska Phoenix

Stepmotherly treated....hmm.

And now, as they used to say, for something completely different - something rotary, and nice and easy - an aggie-chopper !

Awfully sorry for the delay guys but there was a 24hr blackout concerning internet connection affecting the Whole Arezzo area . BTW Nordiska Phönix Biplane is correct!
Cheers

Hi Mike :encouragement:
Reason for mentioning Turkey is that, apparently, a couple of K-225s were evaluated there as ag-copter.
Next challenge:
Sorry no picture of the complete plane. Would give away too much:biggrin-new:
Bonus beer for the proper designation and the (nick)name

Hi Kevin:encouragement:
Correct in all aspects.
The bonus beer is on its way. With the normal pace/tred of the horses, the cart should arrive in the Dallas area by around 2020. Expect some delays at the Russian/US border, depending on who are Presidents at that time.

While we wait for the beer cart...

Not surprising but I'm not getting anywhere either...at first I thought it was one of those small aerobatic crafts from CZ....

Hi Kevin:encouragement:
For what it is worth, I would vote for the the Kozlowski Short T (N67N) . It used Taylorcraft and Piper (and maybe Waco) parts

Thanks Kevin:encouragement:
Sometimes a gamble pays of. Your hint on the Taylorcraft, Piper etc. helped and the wing strut arrangement looked similar when compared to the only photo (attached) I had of her. Seems the tail is bigger though , but this may have to do with the angle of the pics.

May I request Open House please. Will be occupied with less important things today.
