• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Wout, that's the Rinehart-Whelan Monoplane of 1930.
Have a look here (page 5) or at aerofiles :ernaehrung004:

BTW, I really love that anecdote of the SR-71 starting on page 4 of that link. :encouragement:

Thank you fabulousfour:very_drunk:
Have changed my mind (again) and like to continue playing.
Very nice link, thank you!

Had Fab4 not been so quick off the mark I would have suggested - quite erroneously - that it looked as if someone had chopped the rear fuselage of a Hanriot H-182 and then rigged up a replacement using, primarily, scaffolding poles!

I see that the weather in the low countries is going to be on the cooler side. Here 36⁰ C is on the cards for this afternoon. But what's the betting that Texas trumps that!

Well, it is a Kinner Airster circa 1921. The pilot is either Neta Snook or Amelia Earhart? (hard to tell at that distance).

Thanks Robert.

Let's jump ahead in time a little bit.

The wee twin is the Monocoupe Monocoach Zenith ( there's a mouthful)..

Incidentally, India Pale Ale , certainly in Scotland, is darker in colour than most other beers !
