The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

I was about to say that :) even if the photos I got shows some differences in the gear and engines fairings

Bingo. :guinness: You were on the right track fasm but Lefty beat you to the punch.

A little unsure about this 132 though. Thinking it was a later re-engined version with retracting gear. I have looked everywhere for more info with no luck.

Over to the lowlands-

Well, it's a challenge for sure. Personally, I don't know how Walter keeps tracks of all these!

Will be out of town for the holiday. Off to the in-laws for a turkey feast.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, Kevin has sensibly decamped to fill his face with festive fowl, and I seem to be the sole survivor, so I reluctantly decided to have a go.

Assembled a list of flat-four braced high-wing tail-dragger types - and there aren't more than seven or eight hundred of 'em - then looked for the tiny details. Only real ID point is the lower door window - hmmm. Can't find one.
The strut attachment point is unusual, too, coinciding with the front of the gear strut (most are at rear) - and the Boisavias seemed to have that - the tail looks a bit like theirs too - but can't find this model.

Think I need a wee hint, Walter, please.

Hi Mike,
one hint is this photo (from a company brochure). The small extra window in the first photo is possibly not standard (but I could not find anything in the forum rules that entries should be easy!). :bump:

Sorry Hurricane91, no connection with Maule as mentioned by Lefty.
It was advertised as one of the first "plastic" aircraft. Production totalled 38 and versions were known as the Ranch Wagon (sport/utility), Topper (ag-plane), Seabird/Seabird 400 (floatplane) and Zephyr (improved Ranch Wagon).
It is the Taylorcraft Model 20

Hmmm, another black hole in Aerofiles !

I feel some degree of revenge must be attempted - as our Moses will still be in an advanced stage of indigestion, I have no qualms about posting this.....
