The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

OK, this has lingered long enough. It is, as I'm sure you all knew, the 'Bagimer' from Badez-Giraud-Mercier, aka the Perpignan front row. (sorry, guys, that's a rugby joke)

Made from bits of Piper Cub plus other assorted plumbing, by the looks of it.

Here's a low-wing for a change....(not a home-build but built by its country's Civil Aviation Department.)

Hi Mike, a good one!
The Revathi by the Kanpur Division of HAL and designed by the Technical Centre of the Indian Civil Aviation Dept. As far as I know only one was built (as Revathi Mk.1 and later modified as Mk.II) , but I`ve seen pictures with registrations VT-XAH and VT-ECD. May have to do with the mods, but maybe 2 were built (??)

Your previous entry (the Bagimer) fooled me. I did not recognise it as the pictures I have show a more Piper J3/L-4 like aircraft. What registration does your one have?
I know of F-PFAR and F-PFOK (F-WFOK) :salute:

:icon29: for the Revathi Mk1.

The Bagimer was F-WFAR. It has a logo and No 01 on the tail, and on the cowling 'SERGENT J ANSALDI'.

Well well, I leave you Gents alone for a few days and when I come back you have gone all light GA on me. Pfftt! :p:

This a Diamond model Walter?

Hi Kevin, glad to have you back. Was a holiday break, wasn`t?
Sorry no Diamond. Only clue for this moment, I witnessed from close by some of the action with this two-seater. :icon_lol:

These composite jobs all look virtually identical. :angryfir: This should be easy though (sarcasm)....how many aviation companies could possibly have formed from a partnership between two countries a world apart? (at least that's what I'm getting from Walter's "comes from two worlds"
hint).

Wonder why they stopped making steam engine powered cars! Progress? Evolution?
Nowadays they even make big plastic passenger planes.
This Tupperware aircraft started life in Chile as the ENAER ECH-2 Ñamcu and four flying examples were built. One went to the Netherlands and was joined there by a fifth example as the EE-10 Eagle of ENAER-Europe.

OH please

John, it may look like a zillion others ,but this one has a big RABBIT hiding in the cockpit !

Obviously used for short bunny hops.........

Hi John, I strongly deny I was lingering! :censored:
Looks like the Socata TB320/TB360, born as the Gulfstream American GA-7 Cougar.

if correct OH please
