The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

So Moses gets the last laugh and a :icon29: Regardless of what the machine looked like, with a name like Scroggs, The Last Laugh, it just had to be a candidate for a mystery competition.

With tandem wings, the first thought is Delanne. I have never seen one, can't find a picture, so a guess, is it a delanne 11?

Kaboom! That is the Aeronautica Lombarda AR. I think Lefty tripped us up on that one previously.

I will go ahead with another so the European bunch will have something to look at in the morning.

Very clean biplane this one-

Moses kindly left on the fasces symbol, which should have screamed Italian ! It is the Jona J.6, designed by Alberto Jona and built by the Magni company in 1935.
It had a 'hinged, oscillating' upper wing and was yet another design which claimed to be spin-proof.
If the upper wing didn't fall off, that is. :mixedsmi:

Right, chaps, while Moses is pushing out the Z's, try this jaunty floater.

I think it looks Italian, the wings remind me of Macchi designs. I believe the M.25 was a three seater tractor jobby, but as far as I can remember, I have never seen one, nor can I find a picture, so I will offer a Macchi M.25??

Not Italian, Sandar, much closer to home.

RE the Macchis,I have pics of M.24 (twin engine push/pull in tandem, and M.26 (pusher). I think the 25 was a variant of the 24.
