• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

The PAT-1 by Piper Advanced Technology, Inc. (not related to the Piper Aircraft company)
but....one of the designers was "Pug" Piper, son of William T. Piper and we all know where his hobby lead to.
Sadly the PAT-1 (N15PT) was lost in a fatal crash.

Hi Mike!
Is this the LIBIS LB-11 Branko from former Yugoslavia (now Slovenija)?.
If correct could you please post a picture showing the registration? Thanks.

I`ve also seen it designated as KB-11, but I put my money on LB-11
LIBIS stands for Letalski Institut Branko Ivanus Slovenia. Understand up to 4 may have ben built.

Hi Kevin!
I should have known.... :icon29::icon29:
I understand Sullivan called it the Crested Harpy (?).
How are the temps in the DFW area

Thanks for the double Walter. Need to keep hydrated. We are going on 26 days of over 100F. Just miserable.

Yes, the Sullivan was called the Crested Harpy.

Next up, a four-blader...

My sympathies on the heat - can't imagine that - have only spent such time in high temps in the Transvaal, where it is very very, dry and therefore bearable.

No joy with your mystery four-blader so far - it looks American to me ? Hint needed for this boy.

Don't let the palm trees in the background lead you astray.:kilroy:

Oh, and it's powered by a Siemens-Halske...
