It's from a large-ish manufacturer so is no homebuild.

LOL.. I had just set aside the XJO-3 to post after I harvested the grain from the east... we've been hanging around together too long!

Sadly, I had my own harvesting to do.. the lawn was almost enough to hide a goat

Hmmm indeed. That sure looks like it. I have this as the Anzani engined Beasley-Eastman Flying Boat. It was the precurser to the Eastman E-2 Sea Rover. (Pulled the photo from page 252 of Vol 3 of the Juptner series).

Aerofiles matches this info as well.

Well it wouldn't be the first time the redoubtable E R Johnson has got it wrong, but I ain't going to be the one to tell him this time ! He mentions the Eastman-Beasley but no pics.

Am going to do some digging around - in the meantime please carry on - I have an old pal from Cape Town staying with us at the moment so not much time for all this....
