The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Victa Aircruiser.. .an aircraft very familiar to us down here.

Derived from the Airtourer and modified extensively to make the PAC CT-4 Airtrainer

It would appear that the photo was taken at Hamilton Airport (NZ - home of PAC) which is about 2 hours from where I live.

Hi Naki, the Aircruiser it is:icon29::icon29:
I understand this prototype was first flown in 1966 by Victa (VH-MVR), came to New Zealand in 1969 and became ZK-DAH. It then went back to Australia in 1978 and got the VH-MVR registration again.
Your turn Sir!

GAs my thing too...you are correct Wout on the rego etc..it's still flying in Australia last I heard. I've probably seen the Aircruiser in the flesh many years ago when it was here.

Pretty hard trying to find something that hasn't been posted and not a homebuilt so I have had to go down the helicopter route.....carries 5 comfortably:icon_lol:

Seibel S-4B?

The 2nd photo shown for the S-4A at Aerofiles looks like your ship, yet it has side-by-side seating which matches the description for the S-4B. According to Aerofiles anyways.

In a good mood this morning so I will let Hurricane belly up to the bar for a cold one (maybe just a half pint this time). :icon29:

This is the Bloch MB.61 colonial transport. Do you have a photo of the 71? Could not unearth one.

Your mystery plane looked like something from Bloch. My main source had an M.B. 120 that looked close, but a lot cleaner. It said the prototype was a reworked M.B.71, so I that that was my first guess. The M.B.120.01 proto was my second. Oh well. Thanks for the half pint Moses. Drank it (and a bit more), but if someone comes up with the M.B. 61 photo, honors to him. Open house in any event.

A picturesque float plane. Could this be a quiet lake in Austria? Maybe Canada? New York State somewhere?:engel016:
