The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Time for a hint;
The pilot was well known for aerobatics and exhibition flying. He later founded a famous airplane manufacturing company that bore his name.

You are correct Moses,that is not a Hinomaru. The disk contained the pilots personal insignia, which later became his company's logo.

Moving along. The light-footed pilot is Gerhard Fieseler beside his Raab-Katzenstein RK 26a "Tigerschwalbe". Fieseler crashed the aircraft in 1929 during a flying display at Kassel.

Open house please.

It is a Laird. :guinness: An extra pint for you Lefty, my source had it as a Martin 67.:guinness: My archives are now corrected. Thank you sir.

Thank you, sir, have to hold these pints very firmly in this windy weather we're having. (Martin 67 ????)

Here's a wee sleek floater - country of origin really hard to guess.....

Hang on tight Lefty!

As to the Martin 67, when I first saw it I thought it was odd that Martin would build such an airplane.

Anyway, the floater is an Osprey I aka X-28-A, beside a few other names.

Well one of the 'other names' might be Pereira, perhaps ?? I have it as the G-2, but you got it anyway......:icon29:
