The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Hi DHC2Pilot :salute:
Sorry not a Nifty and no (design) relationship.
This aircraft had a 150hp Franklin engine.

Hi to all :salute:
This one-of-a-kind is the 1949 Strat Aircraft Corporation M-21.
I was informed by one of our more prominent members (the one with the longer memory) that I already posted the same some 2,5 years ago. But that must have been a b/w picture.
Interesting story how the aircraft ended up in the <st1:placename w:st="on">Empire</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">State</st1:placetype> <st1:placename w:st="on">Aerosciences</st1:placename><st1:placetype w:st="on">Museum</st1:placetype>, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Schenectady</st1:city> <st1:state w:st="on">NY</st1:state></st1:place>. Please visit esam.org/PDFs/Spring11.pdf, stroll down and see the story and a picture of the M-21 as it is nowadays.

OH please

Nice bit on the Strat.

Here is a curious number...

Hello everybody!
Now we are getting into more "breathable" air...this is a bulgarian Lazarov LAZ7 of 1948 powered by a Walter Minor 6 III
Cheers
Baragouin

Hi Baragouin :salute:
Correct. This is the prototype Laz-7 which differed from the initial production model in having a lower rear fuselage deck and, of course, the second batch had the radial engine.
Your turn, Sir
