• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Yes it is Huub, his third aircraft.

And he flew it from the Netherlands to Kenya, so he's not that supid I guess.. ;)
 
As I did not daily follow this thread I'm not sure which aircraft has been shown before.

So a not so unknown aircraft, with the risk that is has been here before. Must be simple for you......

That, Huub, is a Koolhoven FK54, is it not ?

Strange, there used to be a nice Koolhoven site with some great photos, but now, when I click on the link, I get some film maker shouting at me in Dutch !

Huub; one little tip: Country of origin of the poster is usually the first place they look! :icon_lol:
 
It is indeed the FK.54, which was the first Koolhoven with retractable undercarriage. I don't know what happened to the website of the Koolhoven Foundation, but it is not there anymore :isadizzy:.

Henri Kaper, who was in the board of the foundation now has his own web-site:

Yes, Huub, thanks for the link - it would have been a shame to lose that valuable referenced source. Always interesting, Koolhoven's machines !

Here, for a change , is a current mystery from a British aviation magazine.....(I don't know either !) (Well, actually, I just found it......can you ?)
