Haven't had much time to look at this - difficult to work out which country ! Reminiscent of early Caspar designs. Love the old cycle wheels..... Fellow in shorts - Italian ??

Hi Lefty!
Let me give you a few hints: she's a german girl and if you look into "histaviation" you'll find her....

Struggling to decide whether this is N.A.F. or Martin or Douglas - , PN12, PM1 or PD-1, all of which are more or less identical !

On the other hand, maybe it's yet another variation.............Moses doesn't usually let us off so lightly......

(Sorry, BG, your post magically appeared as soon as mine was posted ! Your show, sir !)

It's BG by a nose on the NAF! Good spotting Sir.:very_drunk:
Thanks Moses and Lefty. Frankly I wasn't thinking of being on the right side.....anyway here goes my offer and I hope you don't mind my submitting a drawing as in spite of my efforts I wasn't able to locate a real pic of this particular item....
Cheers

Thanks BG - the Levy-Biche was a despairing guess, I have to confess ! Suspect there probably isn't a photo...although the Texan vaults probably have one !

Don't normally do the early stuff, but as you know I love a floater, and this one appealed to me because of its unusual single float -must have been fun taxiing in a breeze.

I looked for the Levy-Biche but could not unearth a photo.

Have seen Lefty's floater before...

Edit: Wait for it...the Esnault-Pelterie Type K of 1912.

Well done indeed, Kevin - I thought this flotteur would last longer..........:icon29:

I uncovered a whole nest of these whilst looking for something else - there were some fascinating designs around pre-WW1.
