The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Using that clue I think it might be the Liore et Olivier H10, but have only found a sketch in Flight global but not a photo of sufficient quality to prove it.

Looks like the Piaggio P.150 but the canopy glazing is slightly different.

You had me going there, Kevin. It is actually a Valmet VH-II Vihuri !

In the course of my researches I did find an alternative Piaggio canopy - then realised the tail and a few other things were totally different......

Well done Mike :very_drunk: :applause:
Actually that picture is of the prototype VH-I, but I don't the think the later ones had anything different externally.
Over to you.....

Ali Viberti Musca I of 1948? BG

Well actually Viberti had folded up by the time this was produced in 1952-ish. Production was continued by the Technical Director of Viberti, one Franco Muscariello, and this is the Musca 1/2S (I-DIAN)

Espresso and a glass of grappa for BG, please.......

Thanks Lefty concerning additional information on the Viberti's and for the taildragger's reg number (bad grammar I'm afraid...)
Anyway here goes my beautiful and unlucky mystery
Cheers

Not getting anywhere fast with this, BG. Thought there was a lot of Levasseur there, but can't find this one.... Think I'm in the right country though ????

Looks French to me as well, but nothing has turned up yet. Do you have a larger/better photo BG?

Hi Lefty and Moses!

Yes you're barking the right tree.....the mystery is french produced by a very very important company but unfortunately I have no better pic...oh yes the same manufacturer produced Aircraft and its engine....
Cheers
BG

Hi Mike :encouragement:
It worked. Postponing my hibernation.
This beauty is one of the SGP-222 Flamingo twins from Austria (SGP-Simmering-Graz-Pauker).
View the window arrangement my guess is this is the third prototype.
