The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

I can see where you were coming from, Green, but Lefty has it. Clearly he is our resident expert on unregistered, but flown, homebuilts of the West Midlands. Oh, those crazy MMAC flyers! But it's over to the southpaw for our next mystery.

I confess to finding the Dicer by searching diligently - at school, like G, I spent a lot of time doodling, although not with his degree of expertise !

We're off to lovely Madeira again this weekend - if we survive yet another scary landing at Funchal ! (Try it sometime in FSX)

In the bar of our hotel there are some nice old photos of pre-airport days - here's one of a vintage floater.........(may have posted this before - if so, apologies)

Indeed, G, I think this must have been the Portuguese Navy F.3 that made the first flight from its Lisbon base to Madeira in March 1921. Sadly on the return journey it caught fire and was destroyed. Over to you - (glass of Madeira, perhaps ?) :very_drunk:

Thank you, Green. Moving on, in view of the quality of the images of the next offering, here are two photographs for the price of one - fore and aft!

Ta Mike.

How about another grainy flying boat?

Hard to keep a floatmaster down. Indeed the Tellier! :very_drunk:

Kind of feel sorry for the groundcrew. Slogging that heavy pile of lumber down the muddy cold shoreline.

This one's much easier, but it's a pleasing design - please proceed when you get it because I will be on my way south, sadly in an Airbus rather than a big ol' floater......
