The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

Hi Mr, Green :encouragement:
Looked very familiar, but could not make the connection with the jet engined Viper Fan. :beaten:
In this forum you are not supposed to make elderly persons feel embarrased, although that evidently does not apply to Mike.
Out of curiousity, does the aircraft in your pic carry an N-number?

Nicely done Lefty! :untroubled: Over to you.

Sorry Wout - none of the illustrations I have show an N number.

Cheers!

Thanks G. Walter, I suspect that this is the same aircraft (N520VF) which was re-engined as a pure jet, but can't find any photos anywhere.

Here's something from another era.. Here's hoping the upload completes within the next couple of days......

Indeed, G, it must have been a pretty exclusive club ! Well spotted - thought this would last a bit longer - :very_drunk:

Thanks Lefty.

Is a silhouette OK? If not, I can delete it and put something else up.

Hi Mr. Green :encouragement:
Thank you for the Viperfan info. Overlooked that during in my training.
Your silhouette, the AIDC XC-2 from Rep. of China (Taiwan)?

Fairly new one.
Not an Otter, but still a former animal.
Correct designation counts as a bonus!

I recognize this as an An-2 rebuild. This the SibNIA TVS-2DT? Or maybe the 2MS? Hard to tell as the site I found it on is all Russian text.

Hi Kevin :encouragement:
I agree on all points. The TVS-2DT high wing modification (with Honeywell TPE331 turbine!) of the Colt. The aircraft is pretty fresh (although is uses an old An-2 airframe) as it first flew in 2014,maybe as late as December of that year :ernaehrung004:

Please surprise us!

Thanks Walter. Here is one from the not too difficult pile.

It is the "Blosh". Most pics are without the pants that I have found.

Thanks Moses!I
It should be my turn to submit something but with 37° centigrades in the shade I cannot concentrate....therefore guys do pick up my baton and please proceed......thanks for your understanding!

Hi Moses :encouragement:, Hi BG :encouragement:
Does it help if I sympathize with you?. Temps here are only around 18 C.
No history without future, so here is a fairly new one.

It is a tandem two-seater. Rear part of the canopy is faired over during the the early test stages.
Despite the "twin tail pipes" it believe it has a single engine.

Good morning Mr. Green :encouragement:
I think this is indeed the engine configuration. Thrust s.t.b. some 380kg/837lb
First flight was on 17 March 2015 and of course construction is all composite. Video with first flight is on the net. Will give info later.
