A good day to everybody!
After returning from a spledid week in Sardinia with my hon, I just got from Rami an e-mail with attached his CFS2 files containing the original English modules, which will allow me flying an untranslated CFS2.
In turn, I sent him my files translated by Microsoft in Italian and he states he's "enjoying very much CFS2 in Italian"! The modules include all screen buttons, system messages, inflight messages, window dropdown menus and each stock CFS2 aircraft damage messages.
We swapped languages, so to speak. This gave me the idea of uploading such modules, giving anybody who can speak a different language than his/her native tongue, the opportunity to have fun with a "different" CFS2.
Providing this does not break any copyright law, how about it folks?
If you like the idea, I can post the list of the files needed to accomplish such conversion. Returning your CFS2 to the original language is very easy, most of these modules/files end with a *.dll filename extension. Just rename it with an abbreviation for the chosen language like:
*.ITA for Italian
*.ENG for English
*.GER for German
*.FRA for French
and so on. They can be stored in your CFS2 legacy folders: CFS2 will simply ignore them.
Cheers!
