just returned from a gig in the Ogasawara islands.....Discovery Channel shoot.....and spent some time exploring the old Japanese tunnel fortifications on Chichi Shima....where Bush was shot down and from which he was rescued. An old clipping in one of the bars there was of the downed flyers not so lucky beheaded by the Japanese and of the trial and hanging of the officers responsible. brought it home that the consequences of not watching your six were far worse than having to hit "refly". looking forward to seeing where the devs take RS.....great work...thanks!
 
Very nasty treatment of people. Of interest, are those old fortifications kept open for visitors or do you still have to carve your way through jungle and animals to get in?
 
both..........some are open but neglected and overgrown a bit....the island is honeycombed with 'em
