The return of TE881 on British soil will mark a historic event for aviation enthusiasts: it will be the first Mosquito in flying condition in Europe for nearly thirty years, after the tragic loss of the T.III RR299 in July 1996. The new first flight is announced for the last quarter of 2026.

The UK needs one! I saw an airworthy one a few times in the US (unfortunately it wasn't flying the day I was there). UK skies are past due for being graced by one.
