• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

I think what's a really poor show is keeping us in the dark - not responding here for one.

I don't know about you guys, but 50 bucks is a BIG deal for me.

I won't knock the product, but I think what's happening with support etc is a real show stopper.

Hey Dougal,

I think Jon and the VRS team must just be snowed under with the challenging nature of the FSX release. I'm an FS9 customer of theirs and I can't speak highly enough of the support mentality they have always had. Just hang in there, the Bug will be well worth the wait, and VRS are good guys who will do everything they can to make things right.

adiemu5, I too have not been able to log in. I am and have been registered but when I log in the screen says I am logged in but reverts right back to asking me to log in again. It says I am one of those online but unable to navigate to any FSX Support area. I am Razor1

Actually my registration is gone, so I have tried to re-register again but I can't get the confirmation code right. Darn, I must too old for this crap now...Tried like 20 time times and nothing. Please advise.

It only worked for me when I purged my cookies.

I really, REALLY don't want to clear my cookies. I've a lot of stuff there i'd rather keep.

Do we know WHICH cookies are VRS?

Ok, I think I've managed to fix the cookie issue. Please try again now and my apologies for that. A boneheaded oversight after several days of far too little sleep.

Please let me know if you're still caught in the endless login loop.

joanvalley, what was the username you registered as? I'll make sure it's activated and contact you via the e-mail attached to that username.

Dougal95, yeah, I figured many people would balk. It should be fixed now without your having to clear anything.

It's not there anymore, nevertheless I can send you my details via e-mail and make a "manual" registration? I couldn't get past the confirmation code (one day I'll figure out how to enter the code "exactly" as it appears, LOL!). Just before I dissapear at Mach2+ with this awesome addon, I just gotta tell ya...

As you'll have seen from my earlier posts, like some others here, I've not had a good start with my F/A 18 all in all. However, after spending literally hours of 1 to 1 support through both email and MSN, the guys at VRS have got me going.

Only once in my years of flight simming can I remember support like that, and that was so long ago I can't remember who it was;-)

The FS9 guys told me to believe in VRS - that they were hot on support. Well, they were spot on. I'm blown away.

I am awaiting the pending patch that may be released tomorrow. I have the parameter error and can't get past it. Dougal, your FS9 friends steered you correctly in that VRS is an outstanding company with even more fantastic consumer support. Despite the grumblings of the ACM and password protected forums, it's still very much worth the investment. To all the naysayers, I say it's your loss, but would challenge you to check out the many videos posted by Jaggyroad and others for the FSX variant to dispute the worthiness of the purchase.

Anyway, hoping the patch fixes my woes tomorrow.
