• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I have seen it before!
Top Gear's 'Captain Slow' James May in a U2! Great footage!
The whole programme goes on for 60 mins. All the preps for him to be allowed to go up that high etc..
Great stuff....!

Wow, some amazing stuff. A very sobering transition he took from the jubilation of the initial take off and climb to a much more subdued realization of what he was experiencing at 70,000 ft. He's usually quite talkative and animated in some of the other flights I've seen him in. . .this experience left him pretty much in awe as evidenced by his statements as he was coming down the ladder after his flight.

Quite a humbling experience. Thanks for posting. :salute:

For him it must have been a great experience but he knows that this is a once in a life time trip.

For the Major he must wonder every time he does it is it his last time.

A breath taking experience that was transmitted thru the video to the viewer.
