Very interesting story. They chose the right airfield to land at, where the soldiers were disciplined. Someplace else with fanatical troops and they would've been shot or sliced and diced on the runway.

I have always said it. Not everything about WW2 is been told or written and what has been written is not always the obsolute truth either. Historian have a done a horrible job for the most part by not not been more inquiring and asking more question like reporter do or investigating the Information been given more throughly.

Its just my opinion!
