The Wild Wild West TV show.....

Just discovered this show is available on Netflix. Not instant view yet, but I was happy to see I can get the entire series by mail at least.

Loved that show. It was quirky and fun to watch. Never saw the remake of the movie. Nothing against Will Smith and Kevin Kline; both are good actors.
But Robert Conrad and Ross Martin were a perfect match for that series.

Just like I won't watch the remake of "The Flight of the Phoenix" with Dennis Quaid. I really like Dennis Quaid; I really do! But personally, I believe it's borderline
sacrilegious to even attempt to improve on Jimmy Stewart's performance in the original movie!

Wild Wild West Intro

I am with ya........

When this intro came on ...........TV Trays came out.

Great intro and theme song....dump dump .......dump dump....

Great graphic yet simple cartoon.

The Movie had some great special effects (Spider crawler was the best). I was rooting for the good guys. I liked how they stuck to the basic TV show tricks (train, disguise, modern tech in the old west, and hot babes).

As a side note: (See if you can spot Four things in the original TV intro below....that are politically incorrect in 2010??? I'll give you a hint on one. Sponsor was cigarette company. I've been beaten around the shoulders so much on PC's.....its like ducking a punchs you don't see coming.....obviously Wild Wild West ...the movies was abit of a make up for some of the TV shows passed old school inPC's)
