The work on Part II of the Battle of France has begun in earnest. Thanks to Captain Kurt for four new airfields around Paris, and a British emergency field further along the Seine.
Also, a couple of new missions already...

"objective_string"=On 1 June 1940, a total of eighteen Ju-88s lifted off from Lechfeld airfield at 0400 and headed to the French city of Marseille. To avoid flying over Swiss airspace, they flew west-southwest to Lyon, then south through the Rhone River valley to reach the French port. Due to fuel limitations, this route will be more direct. In the actual mission, the 88s caused moderate damage to the Kuhlmann chemical plant & the harbor. The British troop ship Oxford was hit, along with a French auxiliary cruiser, the Chella. One Junkers was hit by anti-aircraft fire, and failed to make it back over the Alps. Another 88 was lost later that day when additional Ju-88s raided the port, this time they got intercepted by Bloch fighters of GC III/9. This mission focuses on the morning raid.

You will need to stay at 3,500m or higher to cross the Alps safely. Are you going to make the city of Paris gsl. If so would you like an up grade to the cfs2 scenery library for the Paris objects.

I'm really not sure....that's a tall task; I am thinking no; I am actually more inclined to put in place the factories and other facilities that Luftwaffe bombers were targeting instead. Unlike London or Berlin, Paris was not bombed in the same manner, so building all of that scenery would not only be tremendously time-consuming, it would also have little reward other than for sightseeing and eye candy.

Well, since I am on a Corona-mandated, quarantined holiday through 29 March, aside from getting some extra work done for class and doing some revamping of my curriculum this weekend, I'll have plenty of time to work on CFS2. Not only have they cancelled school, they have also cancelled church.

Achim has given me some new airfield to test, and I have built the city of Grenoble. I am currently working on the city of Valence along the Rhone. And a couple of new missions, to boot...

Your fighters will patrol this area & attempt to throw further raiders back, showing them that we won't allow the enemy to exploit this area any longer!
"objective_string"=This mission is an amalgam of two German raids on Amberieu; each Luftwaffe raid by III/KG 53 was intercepted by D-520s of GC II/7 on 1 June 1940. In their first raid, three Heinkels were mauled by GC II/7 near the Swiss border. The next raid saw more 111s mauled by no less than seven fighters of GC II/7, as well as further damage from fighters of GC I/5. This sortie covers attacks by GC II/7, as the Heinkel bombers cross into France on their way to the city of Amberieu.

Luftwaffe raids from Bavaria like to fly just north of Switzerland and turn south near Dijon as they proceed to Lyon and other targets. Your altitude for this sweep will be 5,000m, the other two flights will remain 500m above and below. When you exhaust all your ammo, return to Dijon. Do not chase the bombers south of Besancon, Lyon-based fighters will intercept from there if the enemy continues south. Bonne chance!

Also, note that in French you need a space before "?", "!", ";" or ":".
